I'd like to say we will learn, but we wont. At best, Darwinism, and the ones taking this like it's zero threat will achieve the greatest impact, and those smart enough to protect themselves will live on.

It's kind of like the real life snap right now, except those who are asking for it will get it in the end. This isn't the zombie apocalypse, but it's a world changing event and only those who treat it that way will prevail. Those who write it off will suffer, because wearing a mask is too inconvenient to their simple little lives.

I kinda changed direction halfway through typing so lol

In any case, the point is that any "reopening" which is tempered to not immediately spread the virus again will invariably still involve a dearth of consumer spending and a lack of employment
