This is the video game I want right now.
It's an open world game (yeah I know, trashing these is all the rage on CE rn but look at the recent contest to see how popular open world games REALLY are) where you prowl the post-apocalyptic wastes avoiding giant behemoths that have laid waste to the city. A variety of platforming and exploration leads you to upgrades for your mech. There'd be literally hundreds of different ones you could find. The kaiju would all have their own weaknesses, strengths, attack patterns, and roaming routes that you'd have to learn to take them on. I don't see a large amount of the titanic kaiju in the game, maybe 15 max? Butt there would be smaller ones that you'd have to fight/avoid and they'd draw the attention of the bigger ones. Mark Kern has been working on a game called Em-8ER that you might be interested in. I believe it's supposed to be an open world/multiplayer game where you pilot mechs and fight against Kaiju.
