...did you ever make the first step? What was your approach?
How did it go?

My lesbian friend somehow asked me to coach her and I have know clue how to guide her. I just said the generic "be yourself". But she said that being herself and first approach was different and well... I agree

As a lesbian I can say this for certain: if you wanna make it clear you're flirting with/ hitting on another girl, you have to be prepared to be explicit an say that's what you're doing. Because really, it's an in-joke that we will just think the girl hitting on us was just being friendly.

Like I've straight up had dialogue like this irl and online a bunch:

Me: you look wonderful
Them: thanks, you too
(Talk about each other's outfits)
Me: would you mind if I flirt with you?

Except I'm cute and small and like talking with girls taller than me so being adorable and sweet and cute like that works in my favor.

Ive never taken the first step tbh. Id imagine if I did Id just be straightforward and strike a conversation/ask them out.

I've done it but it always ends in disaster.

If a guy doesn't have it in him to approach me I just assume hes a low confidence loser tbqh
