No macs. I used to have a Lenovo years ago and it died. I havent had a laptop since and just curious to know if anyone has suggestions or opinions on what to get? Ill be using programs such as fruity loops and pro tools, nothing too crazy. It would be cool if I could stream too. What should I look be looking for? $1000 is my limit, but Id be happy if I spend less than that.

Pretty sure with music production it's mostly RAM, processor (cores) and maybe decent HDD space if you're using plugins though I guess an external one for about 100 bucks is good
So anything with 16GB of RAM, an i7 and whatever - screensize would probably matter too, doing it on a 13 inch vs 17 inch would be a world of difference but if you have a monitor that would help too --- I just want to be loved ... Copied to Clipboard!
