Its great because were only devaluing our own dollar, which the literal entire rest of the world is also doing, and it will bounce back, but we cant make people not-dead

so clearly the correct choice is to make a whole fucking ass load of people dead to also still tank the economy

It was always gonna be very 'managed' but I think this suggests it's going to have to be managed at a more granular level than initially thought. At least places will hopefully have built up a sufficient stock of PPE and braced their health systems for spikes now you'd hope.

This is our world for the foreseeable future!
