story wise: zero
If you want to go from good to great from the gameplay: Yakuza Kiwami then Zero Both enjoyable games to me tho. Zero. It was kinda made for people to be introduced into the series since Sega knew they were gonna rerelease the entire series.

story wise: zerotbh I think starting from Zero is better from a gameplay perspective too because it won't seem as impressive if you play Kiwami first, because 0 is more of the same, just bigger and better. So you wouldn't be as impressed as you would if you took all of that in at once initially. imo at least ... Copied to Clipboard!

Play Zero first, otherwise you won't give a fuck about the big twist in Kiwami.
