Tried to drain my spaghetti with the pot lid trick coz I don't have a colander here, dropped my spaghetti all in the sink

My whole life is like this, I think Mr Bean might have slept with my mum and he's my real dad

I have the constant anxious feeling of doing stuff like that, but it rarely ever actually happens. And I just set my strainer all loosely in the middle of the sink hole and just dump the noodles into it in a big clump. The rest is up to God.

Just noticed you said you used the potlid method. I do that with white rice and every time Im just picturing my hand slipping and all of it going into the drain.

Eh, I put a lil extra water in than recommended. It's easier to just drain it rather than deal with maybe getting some crunchy pieces.

Lower the temp to very low once the water is all almost gone and stir so none stick to the bottom then cover it again. I've never drained rice my entire life.
