Redd showed up finally today... and he has 3 real paintings O_o... we only have 2 characters on our island (me and the wifey), so once she picks one I'll say what the 3rd real one is here and maybe ask for a recipe or something to come buy it

I'm just stupidly hurt and baffled by Nintendo consistently nerfing and taking, but not doing back up saves or QoL.

I love repetitive tasks. I hate feeling like anything I want to or enjoy seeing might be nerfed or taken away.

And honestly I'm just tired of people acting like people aren't allowed to feel bad.

That and the drip feed. I'm just feeling really down about the game and chunks of the fandom right now. Not you guys, of course.

The meteor shower has started at my island.

Ill have my gates open for a bit, but Ill probably be afk for most of the time, letting my turbo controller do all the work.

I didn't realize until close to the end of the day that Mable was selling Maid outfits. I bought one of each color, so if anyone wants to dress up Raymond, let me know which color and I can send one. Also Mira moved out, so my brother spent a couple hours going to islands and managed to recruit Ankha. :D

Finally got 150k HHA points and Ankha moved in this morning :D

Edit: Also any ideas when we can expect 1.3 news? I'm gonna guess sometime in the next 2 weeks. I'm assuming they're going to add: more fruits and cooking, and deep sea diving.

So in the code, manilla clams are labeled as "seafood" and there are 32 other seafood items listed, none of which are obtainable. In addition to that there are references to cooking and tailoring as crafting, and references to diving like in New Leaf.

Either wait till they want to move away themselves, or wait till you have a camper in town you want to recruit and force close the game if they mention another name until they say they want to replace velma. Alternatively, with amiibo campers you get to choose who moves out and don't have to reset and try again

Torn between cooking seems like a fun activity and someone help me I don't want to demolish my island.

I wonder what kind of gift food might make. Sadly any furniture (wrapped too) I want Kabuki to use I can spare gets a worse outcome than a wrapped coconut...

Also Brewster isn't in the game, but very VERY rarely, villagers will mention him by name say what their favorite drink is. So it seems very likely that The Roost will be added sometime.

Edit: Also also Gyroids aren't in the game, but the official player's guide explains how to obtain them even though you can't.. So Gyroids are likely to be added soon as well.
