I want to like Evangelion so bad. I even watched a lot of video essays on the themes and whatnot so I do appreciate it, but actually watching it is kind of a chore because listening to Shinji whine like a little babby is like nails on a chalkboard.

The designs of the Angels have original thought behind them. If you don't care about how they won, seeing how they win is still kind of cool.

I'm 30 now, I watched it when I was 13 and I watched it subbed. I loved it at the time, I don't know how I'd feel about it as an adult and in english
