why did they throw in a random shot of Cait Sith being upset???
that must be so confusing to anyone who hasnt played the original FFVII I know who he is and I still just burst out laughing at it during what was supposed to be a very serious moment. --- For your BK_Sheikah00. One day I decided to look up blind players on youtube to see their reactions to contextless fanservice moments like that. The confusion is real and hilarious... especially since it follows right after the Wedge scene.

The marked spoilers are from beyond the first part of the remake, and may not be revealed until part 2 or 3+.

Reeve has made a couple appearances prior to this and is obviously not cool with what Shinra is doing, but theres no way you would know his connection to Cait Sith unless you had prior knowledge of the original game. --- For your BK_Sheikah00. Definitely a moment for fans of the original. Clearly it's Reeve trying to do something to stop the plate drop but too late.
