Ice powers. If we're applying real world physics you would need some sort of current to hit people with electricity.
Also ice powers are just awesome and have so many practical uses; too hot? you got a way to cool off, power goes out and you're worried about the food in the fridge? bam you can preserve it. you got someone with a bullet wound? cryogenics bitches! --- Interviewer: "You're not even a superhero you're more of a vampire slayer."
