1) Gas Lighting- If your partner gas lights you, she/he will put you in this grayish scenario where you cannot determine if you are in the right or wrong. You will initially think you are right, but your partner will slowly grapple you in to thinking you are wrong. Fortunately, History has the best answer spot gas lighting. The mighty Qing Empire was a minority ruled dynasty of the Manchurian people over the dominant Han population of China. When times were good, the Han people didn't care, when times were bad, this was the first thing immediately brought up. In summary,Gas lighting doesn't adapt and is easy spot again after the second time. If you notice that you are not supportive enough when your partner is only mad at you or or only wants something....BINGO Gas lighting spotted.

2) The Helpless Gimmick- I dated my ex for a year and she failed to move out of her parents place despite having a paid off bmw suv, upper middle class parents, a degree, a stable job, money in savings, so many friends because she was so popular omg, and etc. There were other gimmicks, but this one was the most obvious lol. My other relationship ended because my ex could not leave her family/home town. She had strung me along for years hoping that after she graduated grad school we would move to the same city and end our long distance status. Hell No! this girl stayed in her home town and renewed her lease with her brother and said she didn't have a choice and maybe we could try again next year. If your partner is pulling a helpless gimmick, end it now because nothing will ever change but the amount of time wasted on this person.

3) Manipulates friends and family- Is this person still living off of his or her parents, but is fully capable of taking care of his or herself? Does she have a lot of Vassal friends? Friends she only uses for attention, status, and etc. She never hangs out with Tiffany or Bob, but you always hear about them. Does she have a bunch of guy friends in the friend zone that she leads on? Unfortunately, You are not the exception and you are being manipulated by this person as well. Do you think it is odd that she is angry/ghosting you during one week, but spending $200 on you/passionate sex the next week? Leave this person because you are the vassal boyfriend!
