One has sold more games, has multiple movies, a TV show that has been on forever, cards and extensive merch. You could say Final Fantasy is a more enjoyable and diverse game series, but nowhere near as big.

FF7 is bigger than any Pokmon game. Face the damn facts, Final Fantasy is more well known than Pokmon in the gaming world which is what OP suggests. Pokmon is an irrelevant gaming series now.

FF is comparatively niche. Pokemon is easily the bigger name, if not the biggest.
