Gone down a little rabbit hole checking out the Red Dead Mysteries subreddit.

Apparently there is a lot of unused section of the map that you're just blocked from going to. That was interesting to see.

Then all of the cut dialogue. Apparently you were originally able to actually interact with the giant based on all this cut dialogue.
