I do not have fond memories of mwraps.

Usually because I'd rather be in my tank.

But I was rather fond of the Mark 19 when we went out in hmmwv's, usually happened when attached to other units who were lacking in manpower (regular enough to remember, national guard, blue spaders (often enough we were nicknamed the portmanteau of steel spaders), quarter cav, 7th cav and 2nd infantry).

I was less fond of having to constantly remind them the vehicle with the mk19 needed to be far enough away from what was supposed to be the main area of interest in our sector of fire so that the grenades had enough distance to arm before striking, or they would be better off putting a 240 or m2 up there. Should have never been that close to buildings anyway.
