I just finished watching the movie Chappie and I'm starting to understand why people hate this movie so much. At the beginning I was interested, than it turned into a movie about a pair of gangsters corrupting the poor fellow which in turn made Chappie into the most annoying fucking character in the movie. Worst, the movie then goes out of its way to try to make you feel sympathetic for the gangsters, but fails miserably. Then there is some stupid shit about transferring consciousness into robots, but I didn't pay attention at that point because I felt so bad that Dev Patel and Hugh Jackman talents going to waste to this crappy movie. 2/10 only because the cgi for the robot was pretty good.

I like how the members of Die Antwoord take their roles very seriously. It's like they don't realise they're being satirically disemboweled.
