I can tell they meant to go for a more personal story experience with the whole brothers angle, instead of some big epic plot where the finale has supernatural stuff. It's just simple pirate treasure and greed stuff.

Of course that's not to say there weren't fun setpieces, overall it was a nice little blockbuster action movie game to kill a few hours over.

I hope they give uncharted lost legacy for free as well because I think I'd enjoy it if it was free like with 4.

Uncharted 5 introduces us to Nathan's evil twin sister that wasn't acknowledged in any of the other games.

She's after Atlantis and only Nate can stop her.

When they titled it a thief's end I was wondering if they were gonna kill nathan in it but the game was different from what I was expecting. Also I guess a downer like that wouldn't fit the series with its quips and whatnot.

Not sure if Sherlock reference with the evil sister joke but I'd play that game if it was offered for free like with 4. Atlantis would be a fun destination, and I wouldn't mind if they made it Rapturey and kind of like bioshock.

They're pretty fun games as long as I don't have to spend a dime on them.

Anyway my overall highlights of the game: lots of platforming, which is good.

Vehicle sections went a little too long. But not as bad as arkham knight hehe.

Gun controls now have auto aim (not sure if the previous versions did) which is welcome as this way I can quickly finish with the shooting sections and get back to the platforming/puzzle solving/quick quips and cutscenes.

Nate looks the same but I feel like Elena looks different from her Uncharted/Uncharted 2 character model, but still pretty likable.

New characters were fine, but I feel like they could have done more with Rafe. It was only until the end that it was revealed he was insanely jealous of Nate and his discoveries (although I wasn't aware that the events of 1, 2, and 3 were public knowledge?) and I feel like they could have used that more, explain why he was bothering with this treasure and so obsessed.

Also does the spinoff game really feature nadine as a protagonist? The fuck? She left Nate to die on that ship, why would we want to play as her? That was a pretty rotten thing she did.

I didn't like this uncharted that much Sam just felt like he was shoehorned into it plus he always gave me some sort of scum bag vibe then we found the truth and yeah I was right to feel such way lol.

He does look pretty scum baggy but I don't know, it didn't feel that weird that Nate had a brother. Maybe because I honestly thought they already introduced him in one of the previous installments.

The whole "Rafe just happened to find out that Sam was still alive and got him out" did make me skeptical, as well as the fact that in some remote scary prison, they were nice enough to patch up Sam (who was shot what, 3 times? And fell down 2 stories?) and let him serve out his prison sentence, whatever it was? Even with all the supernatural stuff the series has had, I weirdly had a harder time suspending my disbelief about that.

I was fine with Nate not simply looking up the dead drug lord because I thought it was implied that secretly Nate wanted to look for the treasure and "helping his brother" was just an excuse so he wouldn't feel as bad about lying to Elena and stuff.
