Board 8 > Board 8 real-life meetup/gathering?

Hey guys,

I was curious, is there any interest in meeting up in the real world for a Board 8 meet up/gathering? Was thinking the meetup spot could be in Vegas, thinking like in September/October. Board 8 CON 2020? By that time coronavirus will have died down.

Now would be a great time actually, due to the decline in competition from other major events being cancelled. Also due to the hype of this contest. We would have a lot of content to talk about IRL, particularly if the meetup is within the next 3 months.

I would like to meet some of you in the real world, I think it would be fun, talk about past matches, etc. I know some of you have a very negative opinion of me, but still, I think it could be a fun idea?

2. Magfest is already the place for this
3. You don't talk about the contest when meeting b8ers
4. The virus will definitely still be around in September

Nice! Yea I've always thought this community was really cool, maybe we could coordinate a meetup at the same time as your guild meetup?

Now is a great time for these I feel, since other events have been canceled.

Yea I'm imagining in my head this really cool meetup where like 25 Board 8ers meet up with username nametags, like a convention.

Given that this Board has 15+ years of history going back to 2002, I think that would be so cool.

thanks Bosco! Yea I know I've had my past negative history on here(particularly 2018 contest... ugh), but you know what, I've tried letting the past go. People can change, better or worse. All we have is now.
