Finally Celeste showed up on my island! She gave me the DIY for the star wand. Is that all I can get the first visit? I have Taurus fragments. What are those for?

Yeah, she always gives star wand the first time. next time you talk to her she'll give you the Zodiac recipe for the time of year we're in, right now its the Taurus Bathtub and that will take Taurus fragments to make. Every time after that she'll give you a random celestial recipe that takes star fragments to make, as long as you learn them she'll always give you a new one the next time you see her. Once you get all her recipes shell give 5 star frags/1 zodiac frag/1 large star frag every time you see her. You can go to other islands to get recipes from her but only 1 per day

I noticed that gifts are put inside their house after I gave one to Sylvia for her birthday. Does this apply to wallpaper and flooring as well. It'd be interesting if you could "upgrade" the first villagers houses yourself

There's a thread on the game board. You can actually lose the item if you make a mistake with this one though. You basically do the 2x1 dupe but you have 1x1 items on the 2x2 table then there's extra steps after.

It mostly makes sense. Usually stuff from NPCs that you only get 1 guaranteed like Gulliver stuff (which can also take a long time to even get) or like Mom stuff where there are several variants of each item but you only get 1.

What I don't really understand is how valuable Celeste recipes are. It super simple to farm her for cheap but I just sold 3 Moon recipes for a combined total of 60 NMT and 5M bells

I have a plot open because Raddle moved, but I also have Octavian in the camp.
Can I get someone from a Dodo Island to move in, then get Octavian to move in after?

This really cute bird came to my campsite and I invited him to move in. He just fully unpacked and his house is a literal trash dump.

I dont understand how such a cute villager can have such an ugly house.

I mean, yeah, hes a lazy villager, but both Punchy and Stitches have cute houses.

anyone else losing excitement with the game? i haven't been following my discord group or this in the last week plus and last couple weeks I've basically only been playing and getting my chores done during my morning work meetings.

Just haven't had much motivation to finish or make new projects and moving around my flowers and all that. Just doing bare minimum.
