Don't listen to the time travelers. He can show up once a week or not depending if the game decides to select him from the pool of 7 guest villagers for the 6-day period (they don't show up when K.K. is in town)

I got Redd a third time last week but no Gulliver

For some reason my villagers say Leif is there today but I dont see him. I dont think Ive ever seen him and supposedly he should be there for everyone today, is that right?

Have you tried closing the game and starting it up again? I don't know about other NPCs but a couple of times Daisy Mae hasn't spawned for me on a Sunday and then she's there after I reset.

The first 2 encounters are fixed and not on the regular schedule, Dozens upon dozens of people have skipped ahead day by day for months if not years of time and none have seen him show up more than 1 time per month in any of that time. If he was in the available pool every week theres no way that would happen.

Sylvia was the first villager to get a birthday. It'll be her last

Leif has been here every other day. It's getting me to use my nook tickets and grab weeds to sell while looking for gold nuggets from rocks

Just tried that and still nothing. Weird. I havent seen him other than the first day.

Villagers will mention Leif in conversation even if hes not it town, ive seen it happen multiple times

God damn bandeds are too fast. Got lucky with the first one and I just spent a good couple minutes chasing one around until finally losing it

I've only gotten Leif twice but that's because I've had other NPCs like Mabel Redd etc. Also what Ruddager said is true too cause it happened to me

To the bro that had the gamecube theme as his town tune, I want to thank you since I'm learning it on piano <_<

I've read that some visitors "overwrite" others. For instance, KK Slider and Daisy Mae will always appear on the weekend, so any visitor you were "supposed" to have won't show up.
Idk if that's true though, just something I've seen posted a fair amount. Doesn't explain Redd unless he has a higher priority (or it's his guaranteed visit).

Daisy mae, Celeste, and wisp are their own thing. They can show up even with other visiting NPCs in your town

There are Roaming NPCs and Plaza NPCs, they can both be on there together

Finally got the giant trevally. I kept getting mahi mahi. Also got a raining mystery island and got a few coelacanth. I didnt have one of those before. Just have few other fish to find. Im sad I couldnt get a tuna last month though. It was the only thing I was missing for April.

Its possible to have seen him 4 times and for him still to be once per month (2 fixed, once at the end of april if they were luck and now once in May). Nobody has shown any sort of proof of him appearing 2 times in the same calendar month however while dozens of people with years worth of TTing have all said it doesnt happen

I've seen Audie and Bianca say that so many times that the novelty has worn off entirely. Game really needs more dialogue

I've gotten Leif 3 times already (third time today). He showed up on Nature Day I assumed that was actually fixed, I guess not >_>

Also funny thing I've noticed with Leif is that if you talk to him on your island one day and then talk to him on a friend's island the same day he "recognizes" you and doesn't give you the opening spiel over again or anything.

Also I had Wisp and Gulliver both show up yesterday.

Can't Saharah show up in combination with other NPCs? I swear I get her on days I get others.

E: Also I've had Kicks show up like twice the entire time I've been playing. I feel like I'm not missing much <_<

tbh if more NPCs decide to permanently stay and be accessible every day I'd prefer they get their own buildings. My island feels so damn empty.

I doubt were getting more buildings, IIRC Leif was part of the nooklings store in the past, and it would obviously mke sense for at least label to join her sisters. None of the 3 have enough to them for an entire new store. Plus I think the dataminers have said the coffee shop is gonna be in the museum

If its your first shower she usually is, she can be a bit hard to find sometimes because she wanders. But otherwise yeah they are independent of each other

Its possible for Redd to only be selling fake art pieces. If his visits are random instead of every Friday like in previous games then theyve made it so much more difficult to complete the art exhibit.
