I feel these "warned" topics are creepy, like you're talking behind someone's back, like gossiping children. Unless the TC is the "warned" person using an alt.

Lmao whats the point of marking posts if the mods ignore the queue until topics purge? Ive seen mods admit to ignoring the queue and its really obvious when Error is shitposting about his IT job on a Sunday morning while people are straight up posting racist and transphobic shit at the same time.

I dunno if still true or not but only Lead Mods have the option to directly Mod a post in a topic

If a community board leader can do it, a mod should be able to.

calling for a mod to be stripped of modship because an offensive post didn't get deleted fast enough or didn't meet your standard of punishment is extreme.

Is it? Please let management know that, because that's why the board in my signature has been closed for a year.

You know, there's a big wide queue out there but some moderators instead spent time monitoring my place (1-2 marks a DAY, if that) and they were upset that I didn't delete an nkl message about the death of a fictional anime character by 9PM same-day (I DO have a job, you know - I signed in at 8:30 and was getting to it).

If a moderator sees a user harassing another user but it hasn't been reported by a regular user, is there any action that the moderator can take to stop it or are they required to say "oh well, hope somebody reports that blatant harassment that's going on?"

Is there any good reason? No. Is it possibly for bureaucracy reasons. like maybe there's mod oversight going on and deletions outside the queue get logged under more scrutiny? I would be inclined to believe that, but then again deletions like that happened on my board multiple times including unrequested topic locks, and there weren't consequences for the offending mod(s).

LOL, remember when raptor bought a bunch of GameFAQs t-shirts so he would have the most karma?

For a karma list that doesn't even exist anymore. I heard a rumor that Gavirulax paid for them, but I haven't been able to verify that.

His s***posting is legendary.

Nah, none of it's inspired. It's all low quality and relies on lead mod status as a crutch. He would get The Admiral treatment if he ever stepped down.

i'm not sure why the admins are fine with their mods/lead mods carrying on like this.

Really @SBAllen what would a mod have to do to get demodded these days?

Nah Im sorry if a mod posted in that they shouldve deleted it. It was blatant harassment.

and before raptor melts down at me I did indeed mark it. It took way too long
