After that it keeps venting mist to try to tag poison on you. Pancake posted... the mist cures you of poison! You're correct; that mist *cures poison* AND *corrodes equipment*... that's why I kept my distance for the "fight". What was making my poison meter surge in there? :| [ I tried to do a mutual no-provocation BotC playthrough. I wish things like this--killing passive characters--at least counted as an absolvable sin. ] Noted for future reference; thanks, @Pancake ! --- '~' ... Copied to Clipboard!

Dark Souls 1 definitely felt insurmountable the first time through. After dying over and over and over to the Capra Demon, I thought, "you know what? fuck it", and looked up if it was totally necessary
Since I started as a thief, it wasn't, so I grooved on down to blighttown, got toxic a billion times, finally got down and clapped Quelaag's cheeks. It was a good time Just a shame I went through the game without realizing you could even do a +6 and beyond weapon lol --- Posted with GameRaven 3.5.2 ... Copied to Clipboard!

Did any of you start one these games thinking you would never be able to beat it (due to what you have heard about them, and what you experienced in the beginning of the game), but managed to overcome and complete it? My first game from them was Sekiro. I went in expecting it to be hard af, and not being able to beat it. It wasn't too bad until the seven Spears motherfucker. That was when I could no longer cheese the game, and that was the "git gud" moment for me. What I didn't expect was that repeatedly dying and always having the fear of death makes the game more fun. I'm playing dark souls 3 now. Difficulty has been decent, but I haven't had the git gud moment yet. I've been cheesing hard with my bow and my weapons feel like they do too much damage. --- You can't go back and change the beginning, but you can start where you are and change the ending. -Misattributed to CS Lewis ...
