They're just a presentation of the beat em up action, and the game makers say "here you go, have fun". They give you unlimited lives, or settings to put it on whatever you want, and you're told to just mindlessly go through the game. They feel more like historical tours than video games. I want an actual game, one that is balanced appropriately difficulty wise, that I can fail at, that I feel invested in and feel like theres a reason I'm playing. And I want more modern features in them. Not just 8 levels of mindless button mashing then credits. I want these things to evolve but they're so stuck in the past. That's why Dragons Crown is currently my favorite beat em up. Luckily my ISP did an amazing thing for my community and upgraded us free to 200mbps, (when I payed over $100's a month for 20mbps), so my internet has been great so far. Been able to stream on multiple platforms easily. The only time we experience lag is when anyone is downloading or using bittorrent. --- DI MOLTO!
