Things are going to vary in tonality a bit but:

Devil May Cry, Indigo Prophecy / Fahrenheit, Hunter: the reckoning (same universe as Vampire the Masquerade), and there's more but that's a good start.

For movie/TV/books look at: Buffy (obviously), Charmed, Kindred: The Embraced (TV show based on vampire the Masquerade cancelled after 1 season because one of the lead actors died in a motorcycle accident), X-Files, Dresden Files (no relation to X-Files, probably the single most similar to The Secret World)
Thanks!

Huge environments from the perspective of tiny creatures.

I want to be a tiny creature exploring enormous houses, shops, forests, etc etc

Picture something like Secret World of Arrietty. That's the kind of shit I love with all my heart and soul. Give me more of that but in really large scales, in game form

Give me BotW but the setting isn't a giant fictional land, it's just a huge ancient mansion and you're the size of a quarter

I want it so bad
Supraland.

More outdoor sandbox than indoor, but I hear they're working on a sequel.
