Restaurants, malls, movie theatres, museums can open back up at 25% capacity.

Oh lord. This was NOT thought through. Whos gonna enforce that 25%? This is laughable.

In a state as big as Texas I am all for cities deciding their own policies. Obviously Austin shouldn't have the same restrictions as Odessa

Opening at 25% capacity is just gonna cause riots when people can finally go out and theyre told they arent allowed in places because theyre full

Above 25% capacity of people won't come out. GA opened up, and places are either dead or chose to stay close.

Same. The same people going to those places are the same people who refuse to wear a mask.

Now you are only making 25% of the money but you can't fall back on government assistance because technically you're allowed to be open.

The Republican governors are trying to kill every business they can.

Malls might be harder to manage capacity because there's so many entrances. But it shouldn't be a problem for restaurants or movie theaters. One or two people need to be at the door document the amount leaving and entering. They're already doing it for the grocery stores.

I wonder if they'll open up tours of the governor's mansion, if it's so much safer now.

I just stopped at a Steak n Shake in Georgia and saw a modest amount of business. But the people going out are the idiots who don't think. Just saw several people use the bathroom withoir washing their hands.
That's the issue. Opening the state forces businesses to open (or lose unemployment, loans, etc) and creates unsafe environments.

My state opened today. We took it more seriously than Texas did, though, so maybe we will be okay. Its too soon, in my opinion, and I dont like how our state took things so seriously and then gave in to a protest.
