I had just under 1.5 acres but most of it is woods + a bunch of dedicated space for my garden. The only mowable area I have is probably .3 acres. Really not worth messing with gas, oil, tune ups, etc. for a regular push mower.

Anyone else have experience with these mowers?

Yeah they kinda suck. I spent like $100 on one at lowes and took it back after I put it together and used it for 5 minutes.

How much lawn do you have to mow? My mowable lot is all flat and could be done in 15 minutes or less. Even if it's a struggle I don't think I can justify firing up a gas mower for just that. I'd rather just use a weed eater lol

You'll have trouble finding anyone to sharpen it-- it takes a specialized piece of equipment that basically no one has anymore.
