Phil doesn't have any passion for gaming, this is widely known. As such he doesn't give a shit about the next gen. The only thing he will care about is that people will donate the machines + the game games to him, so he can keep "making money".

Aslong Phil doesn't have to leave his house, aslong as it doesn't affect him negatively, he just doesn't care. There are no games he gets excited for, everything is a chore to him, and his ego even prevents him from playing certain games, even if those games are raking in money.

For example, his refusal to play Code: Vein is so dumb to me. Souls games always do well for him, because we usually get unfiltered Phil. So even if his ego might take a bit of a bruising because he sucks at those games, he gets the most viewers out of playing these games, and as such more money and more chance of people giving him free shit.

Phil never learned to play to his strengths, we've already discussed several times how Phil could improve his stream in various ways, so I won't go over that again. But the biggest issue is that he just doesn't care. Not about the people giving him money, the games he is playing nor the hardware he is playing on.

This is why his "reaction" to the PS5 reveal was so uninterested. Because nothing fundamentally changes for Phil with the next gen. Just more games for him to play and not give a shit about.

Yeah, it's not even shallow or anything, he usually goes full on clown mode after receiving large sums of money.

But that "high" never seems to last. Even if he hits the tips goal on the first stream (and it doesn't matter if he goes over it), he goes right back to his miserable self the next stream, often complaining that things are slowing down and whatnot.

And yeah, he doesn't have passion for anything. No matter what he talks about, he always does it in the same tone of voice, unless it is anger due to his incompetence. He talks in the same tone of voice be it his wife, the cat, or whatever. And even though he might have been happy about having Jasper, I bet that novelty has worn off long ago, and his wife is nothing more to him than a live in maid. Given the fact that he has had a couple of fruedian slips, calling his wife his mom, this is not hard to see.

If anyhting Phil is stuck in a rut. And ironically, unlike most other people, he has the means to get out of it, or could get out of it if he wanted. He just chooses to stay exactly where he is and just bitches about it. It kind of rubs me the wrong way when he calls himself poor and that he has to try and get by, because he uses it to elicit sympathy, while not understanding what it is to be actually poor.

But he doesn't want to give up doing nothing either, he literally sits on his ass all days, bitches at his viewers for money.

I don't think most of his fans even care that he wastes their money. There is ample evidence that the money he gets is being squandered on things he doesn't need, yet these people still toss him thousands of dollars a month. Phil could admit to whaling out on that WWE mobile game and I doubt he'd lose more than 2 or 3 supporters.

Not likely, there have been many instances where Phil lied about what he needes money for.

He lied about tax money that he had his viewers pay for him, only to reveal that he didn't use that money to pay said taxea, and instead flew out Kat several times and eventually moved her across the country with the money of his viewers.

Lied for 9 months about not having a cat, then had his viewers pay 2k to find out they had been lied to.

Lied about getting married, used tax money for his wedding and stuff.

And those are just a couple of recent examples. If his fans, his legit fans werw going to be pissed off about how Phil lies about money, they would have been gone long ago. At this point Phil could say he is going to collect money for a cure for cancer, which everyone would know is a blatantly lie, and still meet the goal.

It often feels like his whales are in on it almost. He has been "saved" a few times by his whales during the vest streak with a couple of last minute donations. Same with the Jasper reveal, he said many times he had a "feeling" that he would get a good response to the event, and lo and behold, PlanetJeff dropped a 1.000 dollar tip.

At this point I would honestly not be surprise if he often chats with his whales off stream how and when they should donate, because his reactions to large donations at certain times are acted horribly with him not being surprised about it in the least.

GF gave me shit for wanting to fuck jem, and it's a in joke. The point of being in a relationship is being willing to talk about shit, and be open with someone. This insecure fuck sounds warped when he talks about this shit as he's avoiding it outright with her, and everyone else. He isn't being loyal, or above it all - he's scared of pissing her off. Whatever they have doesn't sound healthy, and i really don't like talking about shit like that.

I don't think Phil understands women beyond a couple simple stereotypes. To him, women are either mother figures (ie: someone who cooks and cleans and takes care of the kids) or sex objects. He obviously got the first view from his mother. The second was based on the way other people his age (when he was younger) viewed women, which I believe Phil emulated in order to fit in. In his earlier videos when we see him making sexist comments every time a female character comes on screen, I think that was him acting the way he thought he was expected to act. The fact that he did it so often--he couldn't see a female character without talking about sex--seems like overcompensation. In reality, I think he has little or no interest in sex or women in general. But having a girlfriend was something everyone else did (and he didn't want to come across as a loser virgin), so he got a girlfriend and eventually a wife. His current reaction to waifus and video game women is based on his warped interpretation of what it means to be a mature married man--he thinks he is expected to act this way.

Yeah, his view on "waifus" and romantic scenes in gaming is definitely weird and considering the way he acts when they come up, that's why people/trolls keep bringing it up...they want to get that reaction from DSP and since he always gives it, they will keep doing it. He could largely ignore the trolls/detractors, which would probably help with his image a tiny bit, although it's probably a little too late to change the public eye of him.

Being a mature adult is just one more of those things he constantly tells us but can never actually show us. A mature adult doesn't need to continually remind people he is a mature adult. Other qualities that Phil tells us about but never actually displays include: being honest, being smart, being thick-skinned, being receptive to criticism, being willing to learn from his mistakes, being fun and/or chill.

Phil got into a rant about people getting early review copies, he also got buttmad when he was talkinh about it. One would assume because he is jealous.

But he once again berated people for getting review copies. Chat was quick to point out that Phil also did in the past, with games like Dark Souls 3 and Fallout 4.

Phil, having no selfawareness, deflected and said that didn't count, because gave objective reviews. You see, for him it was just about the honest truth about the game, rather tan be part of a hype generator. Other people are shills for getting games early, buy if Phil gets one early, he is honest.

It's amazing what kind of mental gymnastics he pulls off to justify doing the exact thing he hates on.

Speaking of which, he also went on a rant abkut EVO. I won't transcribe the whole thing here, bur he honestly believes the reason why he never succeed at EVO is because of the corruption. Not because he sucks at games...

Remember: Phil went to a home improvement store during quarantine and said everybody else who was out was an idiot for not staying home, while it was ok for Phil since he NEEDED an air conditioner.

Yes it is, I'll list off all the traits that are more or less found in all narcissists:

• Grandiosity with expectations of superior treatment from other people
• Continually demeaning, bullying and belittling others
• Exploiting others to achieve personal gain
• Lack of empathy for the negative impact they have on the feelings, wishes, and needs of other people
• Fixation on fantasies of power, success, intelligence, attractiveness, etc.
• Self-perception of being unique, superior, and associated with high-status people and institutions
• Need for continual admiration from others
• Sense of entitlement to special treatment and to obedience from others
• Intense envy of others, and the belief that others are equally envious of them

The first one is obvious in Phil, he sees himself as a rolemodel and expects to be treated as such. He only expects people to praise him, or else expect to be insulted by Phil.

This brings us to point 2, there isn't a single stream where he doesn't insult or otherwise berates others. Be it trolls, his loyal fans, other streamers or basically whoever happens to come into his crosshairs. Where the previous characteristic would score a 7 out of 10, this one scores an 11.

As far as exploiting goes, this one doesn't need much of an explanation either, since he is milking people for all they are worth without ever giving anything in return. Hell, if people want something in return, they'll have to so it themselves.

Point 4 is also quite obvious, Phil has no disregard for others. If someone gets mistreated by him, they deserve it. He has no regards for the feelings of others. Look at the infamous wardogleader incident for example.

Point 5 is also apparant, he always tells these "tough guy" stories, but there never are concequences for him. Like when he put someone's head through a wall in his dorm, or made a professor cry.

6 brings us to how Phil sees himself and the "rules for thee and not for me portion", because when Phil gets an early review copy, it's because he deserves it and because he is honest, the rest are just shills, in it for the money. He also is not a clown, who sells himself out for money, where other streamers who have a gimmick of sorts are.

Point 7 is another easy one, if you don't agree with Phil and sing his praisers, you are a detractor. There are no neutral people, only fans and trolls.

The next one has a lot in comon with point 6. Special treatment can again be used for the "rules for thee, etc" argument. Don't feel like this needs more explanation.

And fiy, Phil does indeed berate anyone who gets special treatment over him, he sees it as a great injustice when someone gets a review copy over him. But because he is incapable if selfreflection, he never seea himself as the problem and is unable to learn from his mistakes. And how often have you heard him say others are jealous of his success? This is again an 11 out of 10 trait in Phil.

So yes, Phil abso-fucking-lutely is a textbook example of narcissism. Pcik any stream, any game he plays or any story he tells, all of those charistaristics can be ticked off.

I would be interested in knowing how many insults he uses in an average stream. It's always funny when he uses the kind of childish insult that most adults would roll their eyes at and then laughs like he really got the person good. I have no clue, usually it is either manufactured drama or blown WAY out of proportion with Phil. I like to believe that no single detractor would be dumb enough to violate any actual laws. Given that fact that Phil hasn't given us anything other than his word, I am not expecting much from this.

Given Phil's track reconrd, like he calls people like Tevin and other detractors actual criminals for breaking copyright law (which it really REALLY isn't), I am suspected someone tried to mess with Phil one way or another.

Basically someone found out that a person with the handle TheyCallMeDSP was a regular player of this wwe gatcha game, and through some research found that all the cards/items he had, totalled to over 40k spent in microtransactions and loot.

Phil of course, vehemently denies it is him even though the discord leaks show they are the same persona and have the exact same speech pattern.

So he's never going to admit to this because he lost a lot of fans whenever he's been scummy with reveals, but now this could cause a whale to leave.

As the one guy points out, it would be easy for the mobile player to prove he isn't Phil. It would also likely be easy for Phil to prove he isn't the mobile player. The fact that neither of them is willing to do this (despite the fact that it would be incredibly beneficial to them) is further evidence that they are the same person.
