Something crawled up Phil's ass and died. He is extremely irritable. It's clear at this point that the bankruptcy is becoming a wake up call.

Phil honestly believe he could shit away half a million dollars and people would go "don't worry, you're absolved".

As much as he will try to deny iy, it is dawning on him that he is not getting out of this unscathed. For once, he can't bullshit himself out if it. And the best part? He did this all to himself, there is literally no one else to blame for this.

He's always been bailed out by his supporters (or his parents), even when it seemed like a sure thing that he was going to have to stop streaming or even lose his house. Yeah I saw it, it's fucking hilarious and only makes him look worse. Misc personal electronics, could literally mean fucking anything. From a espresso machine, to an oven, a fucking vacuum. He is being deliberatly vague it seems.

The fact that he is amending his filing AFTER the 341 meeting (which was a fucking trainwreck for Phil, and the trustee absolutely assblasted him), makes him look suspecious as fuck. It may seem like he is hiding assets. WHat I am more curious about here is not so much what the reprecussions are for Phil, but his thought process.

Does he believe he is fixing the situation? There is still so much left filed wrongly, like both his mortgages as a business expenses. Does he really believe they are going to let this slide as an "oopsie"?

I mean, we've all heard of the expression of giving someone a shovel and watching them dig their own grave, but Phil is approaching earth's core at this pace.

I think if he was more open and honest about some of what's going on, he'd be in a better mood. Detractors are already digging into every aspect of his bankruptcy and speculating on the outcome--what harm is it going to do to tell the truth (or at least as close to a version of the truth as Phil is capable of telling)? If anything, it would give him a cause to rally his supporters around and a further reason to up his begging. And it would allow him to vent. But because he's hiding things, he's got to constantly pretend he doesn't know what people in chat are talking about while trying his best not to slip up and reveal anything he doesn't want his viewers to know.

There are SO SO SO many things Phil could to to improve his life and as such his mood.

He should kill the pre-stream where he vomits about his life, keep streaming and personal separated. Stick to your niche, stop being a variety streamer. Play to your strengths, if people show up in droves when you play Street Fighter, but barely show up when you are playing MineCraft, you are not reading your audience correctly.

Don't take yourself so fucking seriously. People fuck up all the time. The difference is: we laugh about it and move on. Phil has the tendency to explode in frustration and anger and blame the game, the dev, the controls, lag and the fucking volume of the sound effects.

But Phil's biggest problem, and that is something that I fear that cannot be learned anymore: he cannot carry a conversation. He has no imagination. I remember a while ago (and this is like a year or maybe longer ago, but it encapsulates so well what Phil's problem is), that someone asked what colour Lightsabre Phil would have if he was a Jedi. Instead of having a lighthearted conversation about this, he said: "Who fucking cares, it's not real", and that was the end of that "conversation".

Yeah, I watched a few minutes of a restream last night and saw at least two questions that could have led to further conversation get answered with a only a few perfunctory words. Beyond going against his idea of "interactivity," this encourages people to troll him. What's the point in asking a legitimate question that will get a one sentence answer when you can ask a trolling question that will provoke a five minute rant?

This is a good point. The detractors, KF especially, are never going to stop. The best way to fight them would be to accept that all information is going to get out there and to be openly honest as possible

Phil actually said "second place valedictorian" even though that has it's own designation: salutatorian.

He isn't just being dumb or ignorant, he is being agressively stupid.

He also said that only a 100 vest streak would be beneficial to him, so every time he hit the goal (and went over it), is what, meaningless? He is so greedy that he can't even be happy about a 50 streak (as bullshit as the whole thing is). And even though he is being a toxic asshole lately, if you pause the stream at any given time you'll see he is absolutely miserable. Now usually that is grounds to feel bad for someone, but no one has done anything to put Phil in this situation other than himself.

Ironically, he wanted karma to hit him. It is about to, full force, but not like how he intended.

Phil was the valedictorian yes, but he referred to the salutatorian as the second place valedictorian.

But don't conflegrate valedictorion with smart. It just means Phil came in first (which makes me really wonder how terrible the rest must have been...), it's not a testament of intelligence.

Phil also lost his shit when asked about losing his virginity, his defense was that it could be use against him (what the fuck?), but he got angry. He then couldn't even give a straight answer to what his favourite MCU character is.

He hit a 50 vest streak, the reward? A montage of all the vests. So the best thing Phil can up with after getting 5.000 dollars for wearing a piece of clothing, is a compilation of him wearing it. And Phil isn't even making that montage himself, of fuck no. Someone else is making it. So receiving this amount of money only prompts laziness. And yes, I know, Phil is known for being zero effort, but this is fucking horrible. Imagine giving Phil money to wear a vest, and only getting a reward telling you that you have to make it yourself.

I keep circling back to this question, but why the fuck do his viewers put up with this shit? People were pissed off when Phil said he didn't plan on doing anything special on the 50 streak, he would do something with the 100 streak. And now that Phil agreed to do something for the 50 streak, it's basically "do it yourself". AND PEOPLE FUCKING DO IT. You wanted a reward, and were told to do either do it yourself or shut the fuck up.

Phil treats his fans as fucking garbage, and I'll keep saying it till they realize it: Phil wasn't planning on rewarding you for giving him money in order to meet the goal. And when he did, he wanted YOU to do it for him. AND YOU FUCKING DO IT TOO. And you'll keep doing it too, you'll keep giving him money only to be treated as shit. You are out of that money, you are worse off because you spend money on nothing that gives you anything worth of any value, you get treated as shit, while the detractors just sit back and laugh at your stupidity. While I fully get herd mentality, if you stop to think for a second and ask yourself the question WHY you are giving Phil money, I cannot come to any conclusion that would end up with you actually giving him money.

Truth is, if you read the threads on KF about Phil's most prominent whales, most of them have... to put it politely some kind of affliction. I like to think that Phil doesn't prey on those kind of people intentionally, but we've all seen how malicious he can be, and we all know he believes he is entitled to the money he gets and will defend it till his last breath.

Still, I will give him the benefit of the doubt on that till evidence suggests otherwise. Still, I don't believe that Phil actively lies (and by that I mean, choosing to lie), nor that he is a pathological liar (having the need to do in order to make yourself seem more than you are), but it just happens naturally. I've unfortunatly had to deal with a narcissist for most of my childhood (my father), and the thing is they don't see their past selves as part of who they are today. As such they will tell stories differently today, because how they see that today is no longer part of that past. And there is where the lies occur. It's not that he choses to create an intricate web of lies. He views his past events as his past self: something that is disonnected from him, and as such he will explain them as he views them based on the person as he is today.

This is why a narcissist can never grow as a person. They don't learn from their pas experiences like you and I do, they disonnect themselves from that person. If you listen to Phil talk, it happens way more often than you think. Because something happened in the past, it's not relevant anymore and as such cannot be used against him.

Most streamers will usually just play music (y'know, real music instead of that garbage shit he does) for 10 minutes or so before they begin gameplay. Instead, Phil will do the above, but with absolutely garbage music that centers around him making stupid ass noises, then drone on for an hour about who knows what, because I could never stomach more than a few minutes of his rambling.

He gets a lot of donations during prestream while not having to play a game: it's win-win. Yes, he should shorten the prestream considerably, because it is lazy, garbage content that usually devolves into angry ranting that ends up in detractor videos. But as long as his fans keep throwing money at him during the prestream, he has no reason to change.

Something like that. He might even be correct, but it brings up two additional thoughts:

1.) Phil thinks of his viewers as having the mentality of toddlers.
2.) Phil's viewers wouldn't need to let off steam (ie: fuck around and act stupid in chat) if his content was engaging enough to keep their attention.

I look at it like those WWE shows where the fans are chanting and throwing beachballs and doing the wave. They wouldn't be doing that if there was an entertaining show in front of them.

A great streamer will interact with chat and groom a great community, but all of Phil's antics over the years and his horrible attitude have created a horrible community filled with trolls and detractors. They want to see him rage and revel off of that behavior, with Phil doing absolutely nothing to kick it to the curb. It's too little too late to change his behavior and community now.

This is true. I hadn't really thought of it that way, but Twitch chat is always going to be full of people spamming memes and generally goofing off, the kind of stuff Phil hates because everyone in chat is supposed to be paying attention to him.
