Same goes for herd immunity.

Do we just go back to our lives and accept that dying from this virus is a high possibility?

Do we live a life of social distancing permanently? Our children going to school exclusively online? Mass public gatherings being banned (no sports, theme parks, movie theaters, etc)?

I know we are likely to find a vaccine but I can't help but think what happens if we don't?

Oh I totally agree. I'm bored as fuck in my quarantine (ends Monday after 2 weeks mandatory due to flying into Canada from Thailand) and will continue to be bored but its better bored than one of my parents dropping dead because someone wanted to get a haircut.

If they never found a vaccine a lot of people would just say fuck it and go back to life.

Those that are at risk would likely perish and the strong and healthy would go on.
