The sparse selection of Netflix, especially outside the US, is basically like when I look at the selection of shows and movies on my international flights. Like, there are a lot of old movies, some that I wouldn't normally see but when you're stuck in the air it's not a bad way to kill a few hours on a 10 hour flight.

The same logic kind of applies to Netflix. Would I want to pay for such a limited selection? No, I have better means of getting to watch any show or movie I want. But in a pinch does it have some content that I could kill time with when the situation calls for it (like now with the current crisis going on)? Yes

In-flight entertainment should consist of liquor and strippers. I'm gonna start an airline and get that going.

They don't have a sparse selection at all imo. They have most of my favorite movies and shows

They pretty much do. Even USA netflix doesn't have the selection it once does, everything moved to Hulu, which isn't available internationally yet (and like Netflix, once it does go international, it'll be pointless and too late because 90% of its shows will have already been removed)
