He said 3 months.

The weird thing is I dont even LIKE going out much. Given the choice I typically stay home and chill or work on personal hobby projects. But theres something about being told I CANT go and do where and what I want that is crawling up my back. Not having the option is eating away at me more than actually doing it.

I could see myself becoming a problem prisoner if I ever went to jail, based on what Ive been having to put up with (and at least now I can still keep myself busy; this would have been legit torture if I had such restrictions in the 90s).

3 months would be fucking hard for most people. I would do it, but I would start to crack. The main issue I have is we are showing how selfish we are after a few fucking weeks. We are taking about literal weeks. Yeah some need money, but really you can see the real reason is these protestors are puppets trying to stick it to democrats. Want to know what would have happened if the past 5 weeks everyone stayed home like they were asked to? We would be opening up right in the near future. Trump's talk of the entire country opening up wouldn't be some wet dream, it would be a realistic dream within our grasp. Instead we are planning to open up with cases still coming in and lives still dying by the thousands.

Americans don't like being told what to do, they think that means their rights are being stripped. I wish there was a way for them to see what that's really like. Being asked to stay home was our big nationwide mission, and we couldn't even last a few weeks. Past generations laugh at us. Imagine what the boys who were rounded up after being drafted to go to war would think of us. They were shipped to the other side of the globe and they went to fight in bloody battles, and we can't sit on our couches for a few weeks.

American is an arrogant, degenerate society in decline that will be lucky to make it another century in its current form. Ignoring military capabilities, if America today had to fight WWII, it would lose. They would talk themselves into Pearl Harbor being an inside job or claim that Hitler's quarrels would end in Europe.

Because a lot of us have social jobs that put us around people constantly and some people have to have social interaction with others, or be in places other than our homes.. Depression can spike potentially in situations like this. Imagine being one of my guinea pigs or my hamster. they are in a cage all the time or in the room when i let them out.. they only come out of the cage when i let them out. Humans aren't the same as the animals, we can't stay cooped up or caged up very long. It can affect our minds and our bodies.

Except for when its been shitty ass cold 40 degrees here, my ass has been at either the local park, or local forest out in the woods every day. and not one damn person, will tell me not to..i will ignore that.

it's because alot of people don't know how the virus works. these people think that you have to be viably coughing and sneezing like a madlad just to spread the virus to others

plus alot of these people live in smaller neighbors that haven't been hit by the virus so they don't care about it until it's too late. like americans just lack empathy, they know it's happening in other places but since that has nothing to do them they just don't give a fuck.

also people are way too optimistic and underestimate the risks. I've seen people here literally go "It's only a 3% chance of death, I'll take my chances", like that mentality just makes no sense to me as if the only choices are life without problems and death. people just ignore the possible side effects and with people being too optimistic they take greater risks like not washings hands, not practicing social distancing and not wearing masks

and there's alot more stuff that people already pointed out here
