They always say "WELL HOW COME WHITE PEOPLE DON'T GET TO HAVE PRIDE IN THEIR CULTURE?!?!"

But the thing is we do. Irish Americans celebrate Saint Patrick's Day, in many major US cities we have "Little Italy" where you can go and experience authentic Italian culture. We have Octoberfest for Germans, etc. People celebrate their various European heritage all the time and it's fun. No one is saying you can't take pride in being Italian/Irish/Scottish/German/English/whatever hell I even visited a German-American club a few years ago even though I'm not German just to get a taste of the awesome food and have a few beers. This wasn't even some small student group they had an actual building in a major US city. You can celebrate your European heritage all you want and no one really gives a shit. What are they talking about?

Because they're trying to spin a narrative where white culture is being attacked and will be erased over time. That sort of thing reinforces the idea of them feeling attacked.

The idea of a shared white culture/identity is built on hatred and making America a (failed) bastion of white purity and supremacy. In the real world Europeans and those of Euro descent celebrate their culture all the time.

The problem is they believe in some weird pan-european belief in culture, reducing the diversities and history of oppression and war dividing them just like any other global nation.

It's all disinformation and diversion that starts in a white-centric idea of Western Civilization

The thing is most of them are simply not very smart. Their entire ideology is constructed on the basis of tunnel vision.

It's always weird to even try to tie culture to race because it's mostly regional. Race has a factor in some regions, but regional culture is the larger factor.

there is no white culture
The only thing Europeans have in common other than being born/living here is that we generally like to argue with one another a lot

Country culture is different but most of the white nationalists don't get that

Theyre stupid. They think black culture is about skin color and not origin - its not black peoples fault that white people removed all traces of their origin and background 400 years ago.

White nationalists think white culture is an equal when really its just re-asserting that racism; they should celebrate, as you say, their heritage, and not their skin color.

because they are simply racist. that is all there is to get. there isn't much there because there isn't much to being racist tbh

Spot on.

In addition, in many areas of the country if you have a german, irish, italian or UK flag on your front porch nobody gives a shit. But if you have a flag from an african, latin american or asian country you will get confronted about it and called anti-patriotic.

Yep, same fundie bullshit behind "the War on Christmas". I see it as a response to increased scrutiny of racism, by yelling "we're just as oppressed as they are!" and making the conversation all about them.

Everyone talks about Ramadan, but we're not allowed to talk about Christmas any more! Black people can make their own holiday to celebrate their blackness, but God forbid a white person say that they're proud to be white! That sort of shit. When there's a multitude of ways to celebrate your cultural roots as a white person that doesn't boil down to the color of your skin. You know damn well the implications of "celebrating whiteness" thanks to white supremacist groups, and if it honestly bothers someone that much that they can't "celebrate whiteness", you would think that the point of contention would be towards those white supremacist groups for associating the good-faith concept* of "loving the skin you're in" and using it as a smokescreen for talking about racial genocide.

*assuming this is being used as a good-faith concept in this context, for the sake of argument

But when the topic comes up with someone who feels strongly about the subject, it's pretty much always PC culture's fault. It's cultural diversity pushing different cultures to the forefront and "making it shameful to be white". It's "Happy Holidays", including Hannukah, Christmas, Kwanzaa and any other wintertime holiday together, being a secular plot to erode the cultural significance of Christian holidays. It's pushing back against an increased focus on other cultures, punching down to put "the norm" back on top. To a crusty, ignorant white person, it's a combined effort between black people, indian people, arabic people etc. to undermine "whiteness" - not pushing back against German culture, or Swiss culture, or Balkan culture, "an attack on whiteness" as a whole. It's a concerted effort by other cultures and races to "undermine Christmas". It's not the fault of neo-nazis that "celebrating whiteness" has strong racist connotations attached to it - it's other racial groups making an effort to persecute "the whites".

TL;DR it's a bunch of self-centred posturing being pushed by racists and dressing it in terms that makes ignorant people feel safe.

Theyre tribal minded and they want to keep their countries to themselves, even though their populations are dying out. Plus now they get called racist and criticized in their countries, so they feel betrayed by their leaders. Anti-white sentiment is pretty trendy, its not surprising white identity groups would form in response.

Also all tcs examples were about eating or getting drunk. Eating a meatball or drinking a lager is not celebrating heritage.
