I mean, she played a reporter in the OG, and she's sowing misinformation here. She also straight up stole gil from Johnny. I fell once at the end, and _still_ only beat him by one. I really don't mind the alterations they did to the story, as they change absolutely nothing about the overall context of the story. I don't even mind them adding the underground laboratory in Sector 7. It makes sense, given that Hojo really loved experimenting with Mako and humans, and he was always living in Professor Gast's shadow.
