Generally speaking, yes its ok to break certain laws. For example, abolitionists breaking the law was a good thing. Breaking it to spread a virus is obviously terrible and immoral, though.

Seriously, it's like I always tell my wife. We have a thin veneer of society slapped over us. It doesn't take very much to get it to chip off. One day, like a thousand years from now, people will look back at this time and not believe what day to day life would have been like. Just like we can't believe how it was for people in the dark ages.
