I have been using a bandana for the past couple of weeks whenever I went out to get supplies, and when I turn it into a mask, I can hardly breathe in it. When I wear it gangsta-style it keeps slipping down my face unless I push it up (if I tie it tightly, I can hardly breathe). I'm about to just say "fuck it" and not wear a mask at all. I would wear a surgical mask but I can't find any anywhere to buy.

Is it alright to not wear one? I have no other choice, really.

I only today wore similar PPE, and honestly, even with mine knotted, I caught myself touching it a couple of times to try to adjust. Before this, my last several weeks of going out have resulted in zero face touches.

I may try and procure an actual face mask but beyond that, I'm probably going to stick with the method that results in zero face touches.

You can find medical masks on Amazon. Ignore some of the ratings, people are crazy and don't want anything from China because that's ground zero and that means it's worse than getting some from New York. Look for the 3 ply ones, they're no N95 masks but they should be a good deal better than a bandana.
