I too would like to go back to work and for non essential businesses to open back up. But I have common sense and patience, unlike these selfish morons out in the streets protesting after just 1 month of the quarantine. It's not like people are fucking dying right?

I don't think there's an exact answer to this just yet, but I assume within a couple of days. Then a couple of weeks before they actually show symptoms.

You guys know what the saddest thing is? Say hypothetically this does cause a massive wave of deaths, and we hit like 2,000,000 dead by August. Probably won't happen, but say it did.

These people would still say it's not a big deal and that we need to REOPEN THE ECUNUMEH

I thought the guideline for those concerned they were exposed to it was to try to self-quarantine for 14 days, and then you should be good? And that most people begin to show symptoms between days 5 and 11?

On the bright cheery side of 2,000,000 dead by August is that it will create a guaranteed market for vents, masks, ICU unit ect and mass production will start.

It's as I thought, dudes in my county in South Carolina still not giving a fuck. We got a D-, which us an improvement, for out if town visitors and people staying in the house, but when people do go out, we got a F for social distancing.

I swear the younger generation will doom us all down here, lol.

Yep. I am expecting a spike too. US is at 738k total cases next closest is Spain with 194k. US will probably pass the 1 million mark in 7-10 days. While the number is cumulative might bring some renewed attention to the massive gap in confirmed cases US has with rest of world.

Work is becoming more and more difficult. I've said it before but I don't expect people to keep track:I work in a group home for adults with intellectual disabilities. Our supplies are almost completely run out. The guys are constantly at each others throats. There is nearly no food because these guys will eat any and all food that enters the house just because its there and we cannot legally lock up food. The fridge is empty and there's only enough to make maybe 2 meals and then the food is all gone.

We are supposed to disinfect every 2 hours but those supplies are gone. Hand soap and hand sanitizer is almost gone. Paper towels are gone.

These guys do not understand scarcity and continue to do things like make a sandwich and throw it away because they're not hungry. We can in no way restrict access to food, while they are literally throwing away a supply that continues to diminish. There was about 8 days worth of food when I last worked Wednesday, and now it is all gone from overeating and wasting food like I described.

Everything thats going on led to me having a severe panic attack on Friday. I've never had anything like that happen before. I think I need to step away from my job for a while to pull myself together but I don't have that luxury.

The rent freeze being left out is *does not have words* I was reading local Chicago news and there are property managers lining up to file eviction cases as soon as it opens. Only thing which will save most renters is the short staffing due to illness and deaths among front line county courthouse workers.
