What do you think? My only concern is the pizza box itself. I doubt the virus would survive in the oven or on piping hot pizza.

Last time I ordered pizza a man with a medical mask placed it on my porch. I opened the door and he just pointed at it without saying a word and honestly thats how Id prefer my pizza gets delivered all the time.

it's safe. would take everyday precautions like mask wearing and maybe gloves unless plan to wash hands when get home before eat for safety reasons.

would go down to the pizza place to pick-up instead of having it delivered.

haha, exactly. I hope this keeps up on that regard.

But yeah TC I think you are fine, especially if they do contactless delivery. Weve been doing pizza once a week and DoorDash now and then, seems to be about as safe as it can be within reason.

my wife mists the pizza box or food bags with disinfectant, though.

i forgot to mention. not sure if this is all areas but domino's has a 10$ any pizza (any amount of toppings) can even recreate the specialty pizzas on a large.

can make a really kick-ass pizza with the right toppings (can even add extra cheese).

The box itself would be the issue, but it's important to remember that these places already have safety standards that they must follow and they're probably even stricter now. Not that that means they will follow them, but stick with places that have higher health ratings.

If you're really worried, get a big plate or any and immediately put the pizza on that and throw the box away and wash your hands.

Papa Murphy's does delivery now, and you're going to heat it to 450F in your own house.

@LeperMessiahXX I finished my pizza half an hour ago. He did come to the door, but we didn't meet face to face. I opened the door slightly (while being out of view), took the pizza (with gloves on). And after he left, I took the pizza out of the box, discarded the box and then washed my hands.

Greek pepperoni is utter bliss.

Its the safest way, in my opinion.

my local dominos has mandatory contactless delivery. The driver (who is wearing gloves and a mask) places your order on a designated spot and knocks. Then they walk 6+ ft away and make sure you get it.
