its strange. one particular guy on facebook always seems to post dumb shit during Easter and Christmas. wtf. was going on about imaginary friends and shit during the Easter period but is first on the islam defence force when terrorist attacks happen and never says shit about how muslims are fasting for 'imaginary friends' during ramadan or whatever. and dude definitely does talk shit during passover. Always speaks in defence of people of other religions if they are discriminated against but will always have a serves them right/its a secular country attitude if a Christian is discriminated again. Whats the deal lol

why dont they seem to be consistent with their athiesm and why are people cancelled if they post similar stuff on their social media accounts about islam/judaism but no one cares if they post it about Christianity

Rest assured TC, I think Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, <insert religion here> are all just equally dumb, backwards, and unneeded in modern society. There is no special place for Islam in my heart, I recognize the amount of terror caused by that religion around the world far out paces basically all of the rest of them

Difference is, Islam doesnt affect my daily life in the same manner and capacity as Christianity. The minute it does, dont worry Ill be complaining about it with the frequency and ferocity that makes you get the warm and fuzzies.

Lefties like to be contrarian.

But really, one of the quirks of progressives and other left leaning folks is they tend to side with whoever they think is the underdog in a given social situation.

They'll side with a black mmn over a white men, but black women over black men. And they'd side with Muslim black women over Christian black women. And gay Muslim women over straight Muslim women. And gay, Muslim trans-women over gay, Muslim women.

And so on. The term for this is the progressive stack.

Of course, this doesn't mean they'll side with every individual muslim woman over every individual christian woman on every single issue, but they do often prioritize opinions based on levels of oppression and apply this to social classes.

So, yeah, they'll mock Christians, especially heterosexual white, male christians, because they think of that as "punching up" and mocking minority religions as "punching down". Which is typically considered to be in bad taste in those circles, because punching up is a form of pushing for revolution, liberation and otherwise fighting against the oppressor class, while punching down is abusive to the oppressed class.

How it looks to me anyway.
