Thanks to Donald Trump and his downplaying and covering up of the threat

Anyone who understands math understood that it would be a big deal early on.

Then there's the part where a Trump chose to ignore advice from the CDC and health professionals about how to handle the spread early on which only made it worse. Then he spent a lot of time downplaying it and lying about it.

Eh, the media definitely didn't completely downplay it. A lot of people thought the media was overreacting. Others were hoarding Toilet Paper because of the media. The only source that regularly downplayed it and made it a point to downplay it was Fox, so it makes sense that Trump sees it that way...either way...it doesn't matter. His admins response to it matters significantly more. His admins response is what gave the complacent mindset so much negative power.. He's the fuckin President. Americans are getting sick and dying. Businesses are shut down across the nation. Shut up about the media, stop making propaganda videos to make yourself look better and grow the fuck up.
