He was notably absent on Easter Saturday and failed to hold an update on the virus that has infected more than half a million americans with the death toll passing 20,000 people Instead he tweeted to wish Americans a "safe and blessed Easter Sunday" and to plus the controversial pastor and evangelica advisor where he will watch remotely. His choice of pastor has been long concern for people due to his extreme right wing views as Jeffress has a massive 4000 member First Baptist Church in Dallas and is a Fox News Contributer that has sparked controversy He said in 2010 that Islam promotes "pedophilia" and wrote "The deep, dark, dirty secret islam: It is a religion that promotes pedophilia, sex with children. This so called prophet Muhammad raped a 9 y/o girl, had sex with her" He stood by those comments and urged all Christians to rally with him as he also branded homosexuality "filthy" and "degrading" and said "What they do is filthy. It is so degrading that is beyond description. And it is their filthy behaviour that epxlains why they are so much more prone to disease" It didn't end there as he made no secret of his Republican views and used faith to promote Trump and agreed that GOD chose Trump to run America to bring an evangelical revolution.
