Ive made a couple topics about this in the past but Im actually gonna but a TV soon lol. I would prefer if it doesnt have voice command because that creeps me out. Im thinking about just getting a basic TCL or something with a sound bar.

TCL. Mine I believe was a 6 series but it punches well out of its price range.

Sweet. Does the remote have voice control? The specs list the voice control as other so I assumed its tied to the remote.

no. I believe you can get an app for your phone and use voice commands through it hence why its listed as "other"

TCL is definitely the way to go. I got a 55" back in the fall and I'm really happy with it.

Very nice. I think the TCL 55 is the what Ill get. Anything bigger than 55 would look goofy as hell mounted in my living room.

If theres a Best Buy open, I think some stores you can do it online, but look for open box TVs. Ive had 2 so far and one is my bedroom TV thats about 7 years old and its still plenty perfect.

Recent one I got cheap as fuck because it didnt have a stand with it but I mounted it on the wall anyways so that wasnt an issue.

Do people actually get good tvs for this price? I always try to go high end on TVs between brand and price. Seems to last longer and have less potential issues with higher quality parts.

TVs are cheaper and easier to produce than ever though and its been 6 years or so since I bought one so maybe that's changed. Looking to buy a new one sometime this year.

Ive been using a crappy 32 Dynex for almost 8 years now, even a low end modern TV is gonna be a huge upgrade for me lol
