If you're still in grad school or something, I'd say up to 30 is OK.

Depends on the culture Came in to say this. I don't really judge hard though as everyone has different circumstances. I think in the United States (strictly speaking on public perception) it's gone from 18-20 a few decades ago to something like 24-26 now. --- ... Copied to Clipboard!

I was living on my own at the age of 16, working and going to school full-time.

I moved out from my childhood home when I was 17 (Still in high school), but it was under extreme circumstances, so it really depends on the individual's competence and maturity.

At this point with how the economy was and now the pandemic, if you're still judging people for still living at home then you're just judgemental, stuck up, and possibly blinded by privilege. Some people just don't have the luxury to be able to get their own place. Some have to take care of their parents. Lots of people have good reasons why.
