vaccine success depends on mutation rates, so for now it's certainly possible

Whats your definition of success. I mean right now 2 grams of lead will end a infection

That wouldn't really fall under the category of success for a vaccine, since they don't treat an infection.

I would need to know more about its rate of mutation. I'm sure they'll be able to make an at least effective vaccine, but whether it's something like the flu vaccine that needs to be updated every year, or something like the vaccines you get once in your life and then that's it, I don't know enough to answer.

Probably but who knows

weve had a flu vaccine for decades but its no where near 100% effective since the virus mutates so frequently

I assume the implication was if you are dead you won't be infected.

oh, it's a common joke in the anti-holistic circles to say something like lava or bullets kill a disease in vitro, since the holistic people will say something like 'vitamin b17 cures cancer cuz in vitro' and stuff like that

Well yes, vaccines are just dead or weakened versions of the virus, so if you've had the real deal then you'd get the same result just with higher risk.

Except it runs out quick. And there's at least 8 strains.

Nope. You just have to hope the last run you had is similar enough to the new one so you're not hit too hard.
