But luckily ours is only like $55 a month and fairly hands off, except the time we got cited for having long grass in our front yard. My BF is actually on the board just to make sure the HOA doesn't enforce or create annoying rules. Ours is pretty perfect though. The main thing that HOAs complain about is your front yard.
