Anyone here have one? Likes, dislikes?

I want one with AWD. There's some 2014 and 2015 models for under 15k nearby. Seem to be the same as the new ones only with the bulletproof Nissan 3.7 under the hood versus a 3.0 turbo. And they don't have Apple CarPlay but I wouldn't use that anyway.

Hey!

get a car with Apple CarPlay its amazing especially using the maps (silky smooth compared to the car unit one). Everything in the menu is just smooth and fast

I wasnt a believer, but now its a must in cars!

Why? Originally I was looking into a G37X which I've only ever heard positives about but found out this replaced it but is basically the same car underneath all the new styling shit.

Most mainstream luxury cars/brands depreciate terribly. In fact, Infiniti and the other Japanese makes are among the better ones compared to their German counterparts.

I just did a random search for used 2017 BMW 3 Series cars in my area and there are plenty of basic 320i/330i examples that can be had in the upper 10s/low 20s range. These cars cost double that when they were new.

Yeah this

Idk how Nissan/Infiniti is nowadays but I know in the 90s and early 2000s they were extremely reliable and cheap to maintain/repair...whereas German cars, regardless of reliability, cost a fortune to maintain/repair.

I know people shit on their CVT transmissions a lot but Infiniti doesn't use CVTs.

That was the rationale I used when I bought my 13 TL vs options from Audi and BMW that I was also looking at. Sure, they're nice to read about in magazines, but you have to sell your kidneys and liver so you have enough money to maintain the damn things. There's a reason why depreciation for German cars suck in particular.

An $80,000 E Class will be worth less than half that after 3 years. That's about the time when the car starts to fall apart.
