Biden has been running on the image of a centrist working across the aisle, etc etc. I don't think it's outlandish for him to be willing to appoint some Republican, but in the end it doesn't really matter because:
1. He won't get elected and
2. Even if he does, he'll enact the same style of centrist policy no matter the capital letter next to his official appointee

The whole gag of a politician saying something and then having it reduced to a few second sound bite clip and headline without context to make them look bad needs to stop. Of course it's a thing that's been around since forever, but getting worse with the internet.

Biden won pretty much the entire midwest and the rust belt

After his campaign was saved by South Carolina, a state that is like #38 in terms of democratic party representation. Why was SC a more important win than the earlier states? And why did the media treat SC as if it were the only state to matter when it is a red state that a dem would never win in the general?

We should not have a first and last to vote state. The whole idea of the country voting at different times for something that affects everyone at a national level is fucking stupid and only supports corruption.

Corruption such as every candidate seemingly independently making the decision to miraculously drop out of the race at the same time and endorse Biden on a big voting day like super Tuesday. Except Warren, Sanders' progressive competition.
