The usa ending up like india, where theres mostly two groups the rich and the poor, seems very likely to me. As long as the USA stays capitalist it's going to go that way.

If it hasn't happened yet with all the bullshit the government has done to us, I don't think it'll ever happen.

If someone wants my stuff and will kill for it, they can have it.
I could never kill someone over a thing. That's just silly and I feel bad for anyone who feels the need to have a gun to defend stuff and not just people.

Now if someone is trying to hurt someone, I may put myself in their way. That's a different story.

Its slowly going there. Health care is getting to the point where with insurance theres something the average person cant afford which is crazy. You can get a good boob job for 3k, life saving operation? A lot more. Child birth? 10k+.

The biggest problem is the government isn't "for the people" anymore. Most if not all political representatives are not the average person anymore. They dont represent the average person or family. Most didnt grow up eating Roman or other cheap meals to barely get by. So they will always favor their own class and protect their own.

What if they are trying to take essentials to survive. Ie food and water.

It's hard to say what I'd do while actually starving, but if someone was stealing all my food at gun point, they'd get it. I imagine I wouldn't have much for that to happen. Otherwise, I'd go to a neighbor or something and ask them for some to help.
I possess a decent amount of food and work in a grocery store, so it's a hard scenario to imagine.

Guns don't make heroes, it takes the willingness to die for the sake of a better tomorrow for people you've never met, nor ever will. That's not a trait that's easily found laying round nowadays.

We can stay Capitalist, we just have to adopt policies that help reduce income inequity and not favor corporations over working people. lol

Otherwise it's going to lead up to be some kind of revolt. I see leftist leaders now casually floating things like a mass revolt and people on Twitter flat out saying the rich need to be hanged. People with millions of followers Joker-meming.
