I beat it on normal in one weekend so you shouldn't have a problem beating it before FF7R comes out. DMC games are really meant to be replayed on higher difficulties so you'll get a lot of hours out of it if replaying games like that is your thing. If you decide to get it, just go into it knowing Nero is kind of an edge lord because some people were turned off by that. DMC games don't have good stories so don't expect a lot from that department but this one was decent compared to the others.
