I have found since the start of lockdown two weeks ago and the subsequent shift to a sedentary lifestyle that entails, my weight has positively ballooned out to 65kgs.

As you can expect, this shall not do.

Being something of a non-sporting dog, my exercise was previously limited to rather long, albeit swift walks.

I have attempted undertaking a daily regime of lunges, yet I find that my knees are somewhat sensitive and are rather painful following even a handful of repetitions. However, this may simply be a result of my bodys unfamiliarity with that particular exercise.

So, exercise fanatics of Current Events, I abase myself at your feet and eagerly await the pearls of wisdom you may cast upon me.

If you're eating enough to balloon, you're eating like 5000+ calories more than you need every week
Exercise only supplements weight loss. You'd have to run 50miles/wk to burn 5000cal

Or you could just stop snacking and get rid of all the carbs and load your meals with vegetables. Which is easier?
