Most people are right handed and wear their watches on the left wrist. Crown is easily accessible with right hand then

Huh? Are youv talking about the face of the watch? You can flip it around?

Maybe you're talking about how military people wear their watches? They face the face of the watch inwards so if they have their support hand on their rifle they can check the time without moving their hand off the handguard.

Oh the thingy to set the time.

Well most righties wear their watch on left wrist, so having it on the right side would make sense.

The world doesnt cater to lefties.

Because most people are right handed. Just buy a left hand variant of a watch if you want the crown on the left.
